Welcome Week 2017 starts on Saturday 30 September. It's the perfect start to your time at Imperial.
What can you do before Welcome Week?
- Make sure you check the new students guide on the College website, there's a separate guide for Undergraduates and Postgraduates.
- Have a look at I-Connnect which will help you get up to speed with the support and resources available to you as a student, and get to know more about Imperial and the surrounding area in the process.
- Join the official Imperial College London Freshers' 2017 Group to talk with other new students at Imperial before term starts, find out who else is on your course and get updates on all things Welcome Week!
- Follow Imperial College Union on Facebook and Twitter to get the latest news from us, and find us on Instagram and Snapchat - just search for icunion.

What's on during Welcome Week?
The Union will have a range of events on during Welcome Week - they're listed below and on our What's On calendar. We have some specific events for Undergraduates and Postgraduates, but most events are open to all.
The Fresher's Ball is the biggest night of Welcome Week. Kristian Nairn (Hodor, Game of Thrones) will be headlining. You can get tickets here.
The Postgraduate Mingle will feature Huw (BBC Radio 1) vs Ace (BBC Radio 1Xtra) as headliners and you can get tickets here.
The Undergraduate Mingles will take place on Saturday 30 September and Monday 1 October. You can buy your tickets from our halls of residence. The date will depend on which halls of residence you are in.
The Freshers' Fair will be held for one day across our South Kensington campus and will be buzzing with a variety of external exhibitors and 370+ clubs, societies, and projects available.
