#ICyoutoo is the inaugural event of “We Need to Talk” – a student-led campaign aimed at reducing the prevalence of sexual harassment and assault at Imperial.
In 2014, the Telegraph reported that 1 in 3 female students in UK had experienced some form of sexual assault or abuse on campus, and 1 in 8 males had experienced groping or unwanted sexual advances. In addition, half of the female students and one-third of male ones knew a friend or relative who had been subjected to sexually inappropriate behaviour whilst at university.
