Rugby Sports Coach

Job Summary

Imperial College RFU Men's 2XV are currently looking for a Rugby Sports Coach for the 2021/22 academic year. The role consists of a mixture of evening, day and weekend work. 

Training sessions will be located at Harlington Sports Ground with travel to matches expected with the team.

The role is is to coach, support and develop the team and the successful applicants will need to be available to work on a regular basis throughout the 2021/22 academic year. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification attached.

Hourly rate is £20.00 per hour. This is a casual hours role.

The Person

The post-holder must hold at least a Level 2 National Governing Body Award and evidence of affiliation to the RFU. Have experience of creating and delivering coaching plans that are linked to sport competition cycle and player evaluations for athletes. Experience coaching within an inclusion sports environment. Effective communication skills and knowledge of health and safety protocls within the sports environment. Have a willingness to undertake CDP as required. Experience of coaching in a head coach capacity and/or supervising assistant coaches is desirable as well as having coached BUCS competition or or coaching within a higher education setting.

It is a must that successful candidates make themselves available to work regular Monday evening (training), Wednesday afternoon (matchday) and Saturday morning (training).
