The upcoming academic year 2017/18 sees the launch of our Wellbeing Rep Network! Mirroring our hugely successful Academic Rep Network, the Wellbeing Rep Network is the first of its kind in Higher Education Institutions in the UK as a student-led network focused solely on wellbeing issues at a College level.
Ensuring that issues affecting students’ wellbeing during their time at Imperial are considered, understood and tackled by staff is a priority for both the Union and the College. The network will give students the power to make positive change within their departments in the interest of improving students’ lives and their overall Imperial experience.
The Union is committed to delivering the Wellbeing Rep Network as one of the top five priorities of Our Strategy, 2017-2020. We know that studying at Imperial College can be tough and our members are expected to perform well in a pressurised and fast-paced environment. This project is one way in which the Union is committed to enhancing all aspects of the student experience – not just clubs, societies and bar nights!
If you’re interested in becoming a Wellbeing Rep, make sure you run for a position in your department during the Autumn Elections! Keep an eye out on the website for more information soon…
