During the Coronavirus crisis, Imperial College Union has been committed to supporting and providing ongoing service to our students, including representation work, advice, and support for CSPs. We are still committed to providing key services where required.
As of Wednesday, 10 June, a number of our staff members will be going on furlough as part of the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme. This is a proactive measure that, like lots of other organisations, we're hoping will be able to ensure our sustainability for the future.
That means that we will be operating with a very minimal staff team over the next few weeks. Our Advice Centre is still open for remote appointments, we are still supporting CSP committees and running our Summer Elections. The Student Choice Awards ceremony will go ahead as planned. However, some of our response times may be a bit slower over the next few weeks, whilst we aim to maintain as good a service as possible.
