If so, then we want to hear from you! We are currently looking for a self-motivated Bar Supervisor to join our busy bars team and help us to deliver our ambitious and exciting plans. The role will consist of a mixture of evening, day and weekend work. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification attached for further information.
Hourly rate starting from £13.81 per hour inclusive of holiday pay allowance and discounts in the Union's outlets. This is a casual hours role.
The Person
As a Bar Supervisor your duties will be:
- Speed of Service
- Stock and cellar control
- Dealing with minor complaints from customers
- Ensuring excellent customer service
- Keeping bar tidy and ensuring all policies/procedures are followed
- Helping the manager in the running of the event as and when required
- Delegating tasks to staff (e.g. clearing the floor, mopping up spillages)
- Protecting the venues licence through showing due diligence: e.g. ID checks and the proper filling out of key paper work
- Ensure that health and safety and COSSH policy is followed.
- Identifying any staff training needs and assisting management in providing support as required
