We are currently looking to add to our team of dedicated staff to work at the bars alongside our fantastic Venues Team. Located in Beit Building and around campus, our venues are the social hub of student activity, hosting a great range of events and nights.
This role requires excellent customer service skills, the ability to maintain high standards of hygiene and Health and Safety compliance as well as with all stock and financial procedures. The role consists of a mixture of evening, day and weekend work. Please see the Job Description and Person Specification attached for further information.
Hourly rate starting from £11.55 inclusive of holiday pay allowance and discounts in the Union's outlets. This is a casual hours role.
The Person
The post-holder will be expected to deliver exceptional customer service while working at the Union's bars. They must be a confident, self-motivated, reliable individual with excellent numerical and communication skills, who works well in a team and on their own. It is desirable that they will have either experience of working in a busy commercial and customer-focused organisation, or be able to demonstrate relevant experience elsewhere.

It is a essential that successful candidates make themselves available to work regular Wednesday and Friday evenings.
