The winner of the 2016 Student Academic Choice Award for Best Feedback was Dr David Thomas of the Department of Electronic & Electrical Engineering.

"The results for his coursework were outstandingly detailed, with each student being provided a 5 page HTML document with their performance on over 100 different aspects of the code we were asked to write - and how well you did relative to the class on each of those aspects. On top of this fairly mechanical specification, he also provided a virtual sign-up sheet to allow us to schedule 15 minute talks with him to get detailed feedback, and a chance to ask him any questions we had about our submission. "
