The third Student Academic Choice Awards Ceremony was held on 11 May 2015, bringing together over 130 staff and students in a celebration of teaching and supervision excellence.
808 nominations - the biggest SACAs ever
The SACAs honour academic and support staff who have demonstrated excellence and innovation. A massive 808 nominations were received - almost 40% more than for the 2014 SACAs - making 2015 by far the biggest year yet.
Eight awards were won on the night, with six people shortlisted for each award. Every SACA shortlistee and winner was selected by student panels, consisting exclusively of Officer Trustees and Academic Representatives. The student panels selected staff members according to their focus on quality teaching, supervision and support.
