What is GIAG?
Give It A Go is back for January 2014, with a huge range of events and activities run by our 315 Clubs, Societies & Projects.
These are events you can go along to, without having to commit to continuing the activity or buy membership. It’s never too late to start something new, and if you missed out at the start of the year, this is the perfect opportunity. Read more about GIAG.
Sounds great, what can I do?
All the events and more, with up to date details can be viewed on our What’s On Calendar.
There are Give It A Go booklets which can be picked up from the Student Activities Centre, or from one of the student stalls in the JCR at lunchtimes over the next two weeks.
Need more persuading?
Getting involved in things other than studies at University I feel is really important. When else do you have 315 groups of people offering a phenomenal range of fun things to try, and new people to meet. Here are just a few highlights:
- Underwater Hockey
- Soup Run
- Women’s Rugby
- First Aid Training
- Sci Fi Book Blind Date
I hope you take these opportunities and Give It A Go!
