The 8th November marked our last Give it a Go Session of 2014 and we want to thank all of the Clubs, Societies and Projects who took part in the programme this term. With over 100 activities stretching across both October and November, this has been our biggest to date.
Give it a Go has proven to be a great way to introduce new members to our Clubs, Societies & Projects, with sessions offering either a free or cheap introductory session to club activities and exciting events. Featuring in printed booklets, posters, website articles and blogs, Give it a Go is an effective way to promote activities to new starters and returning students. Last year, 60% of clubs thought that Give it a Go helped increase membership and involvement, and we are looking forward to seeing this year’s feedback.
Those of you who ran activities should keep an eye out for our Give it a Go feedback survey which will be sent around soon, we are keen to know your thoughts on how we can improve ready for January 2014, and we’re also excited to know how successful your sessions were too!
Once again, thank you to all of our student volunteers who either ran or took part in a session this term and thank you to everyone who attended. We hope to see you again in for our next Give it a Go in January!
