Committees
Council and everything it does is bound by the Imperial College Constitution and Regulations. The Council is the paramount policy-making, scrutiny and accountability body of the Union and in effect the democratic voice of the student body. Its membership is entirely drawn from the student body. Its key roles are to provide political leadership through passing policy, providing oversight of the Union?s activities and ensure that its activities are being conducted properly and to hold senior union officers to account. The Council may also require any Officer and any other post-holder in the Union not on the Trustee Board or Court to attend and answer questions. Council ultimately reports to the Trustee Board.
