Last week Imperial College Union held two rep training sessions for undergraduate and postgraduate academic representatives. Around 50% of the academic representatives attended this event, which involved a one hour talk on the Union, the academic structure, welfare issues to be aware of and how to be an effective representative. I would also like to thank Caroline Hargreaves - Graduate School Liaison and Maryam Habibzay - Graduate School Association President on giving talks at the postgraduate training.
Since we kept stressing the importance of feedback throughout the whole night we thought it was only right that we asked the representatives their views on the training session (unfortunately this was only for undergraduates).
From the table below, you can clearly see that we achieved a first in this and it was a worthwhile event.
