MediCinema is a charity that builds and operates state of the art cinemas in hospitals and places of care. We show the latest film releases, for free, to patients, their friends and families. Our cinemas are built to allow patients in wheelchairs and even hospital beds to be able to leave the wards and enjoy a film, under the supervision of our amazing nurses and volunteers.
The best thing about MediCinema is that it really promotes a social, inclusive atmosphere- patients can socialise, watch culturally relevant films and feel like people rather than patients for a while.
