Give It A Go and Refreshers’ Fair registrations are now open! These are two great opportunities for Clubs, Societies and Projects to increase their exposure and widen their membership in the New Year. It's never too late to get involved in student activities and join something new, our CSP's are welcoming to new members all year round.
We’re really excited to be running Give It A Go again in January after previous successes of the scheme. In October, GIAG engaged 3,000 students with over 100 student activities and we want to build on this in the second term. It’s a great way for students to find out about & participate in many of the diverse and fun things that our student groups have to offer.
We’re looking for clubs, societies and projects to run GIAG sessions to encourage people to try out their activity. This could be using a regular activity and registering it as GIAG for the publicity, or being creative and coming up with something entirely different. Last year 60% of you said it helped increase membership and we think this is particularly fantastic opportunity for new clubs who are wanting to increase interest in their group.
The second opportunity for Clubs, Societies and Projects is to be involved in the Refreshers' Fair. This will be on Wednesday 28 January 2015 in the Great Hall on the South Kensington campus. Previously known as the New Year Fair, the Refreshers’ Fair is an opportunity for students to discover new opportunities and activities in January.
There are opportunities for Clubs, Societies and Projects to have a stall at the fair or perform during the day, showcasing your activities and talent to a new and wide audience.
