Your new Officer Trustees have started their year in office!
Imperial College Union is led by students. Every year, over 2,500 students are elected to volunteer positions within the Union - taking part in a huge range of activities, including the Academic Representation Network, Constituent Unions, Clubs, Societies & Projects, Community Connections, Liberation Networks and much more.
The leaders of the Imperial student community are the Officer Trustees - five students elected by their peers to take a year out of their studies to work full-time in the Union, ensuring that your Imperial experience is the best it can be.
This year's Officer Trustee team have the biggest mandate of any student officers in the United Kingdom, after a record-breaking 45.47% of Imperial students cast their vote in March's Leadership Elections 2016. They took office today, beginning twelve months of working for you - improving the education you receive, campaigning for improved student wellbeing, supporting the UK's biggest range of student activities, and offering a wide selection of volunteering, development and social enterprise opportunities.
