As part of the World Class Research Supervision project, the Union and the Graduate School are exploring what a “vibrant and thriving” research culture and community means to its students. We would like to hear what you think of existing activities and events which help to create a sense of community, current physical space available to postgraduates which facilitates interdisciplinary discussions and the opportunity to network (both at a departmental and College level) and how these might be improved.  We would like to invite you to attend one of five scheduled student focus group sessions which will be hosted by the Graduate School.  Each focus group lasts one hour and free lunch will be provided:

• Thursday 28 July 13.00 – 14.00, South Kensington Campus (students from the Faculties of Engineering, Natural Sciences, The Business School and Medicine based at South Kensington)
• Friday 29 July 12.00 – 13.00, Hammersmith Campus (students from the Faculty of Medicine based at Hammersmith)
• Wednesday 17 August 12.00 – 13.00, Charing Cross Campus (students from the Faculty of Medicine based at Charing Cross)
• Thursday 18 August 12.00 – 13.00, Silwood Park Campus (students from the Faculty of Natural Sciences based at Silwood Park)
• Thursday 25 August 12.00 – 13.00, St Mary’s Campus (students from the Faculty of Medicine based at St Mary’s)
