On Monday 14 December Imperial Plus hosted a presentation evening to recognise this term’s volunteering efforts. With speeches from Vice Provost Education, Sue Gibson and alumni Henrick Hageman, our volunteers enjoyed an evening of inspiration and celebration, served up with mince pies and mulled wine!

Imperial Plus recognises volunteering as a Club, Society or Project Officer, an Academic Rep, as well as volunteering through student projects, Community Connections, College or Halls. This term alone has seen almost 6,000 volunteer hours logged, with certificates on the night awarded for between 25 and 150 hours.

 As Cyin, Deputy President (Education) said: "When you go out there to do things, from acting as a Rep to organising a conference on international development or heading out to help at a hospice, you are making a real difference that may well touch people’s lives and help make the world around you better."

 We’d like to say a big thank you to all our volunteers for their continued hard work and dedication to their clubs, societies, and communities. Keep up the good work and we can’t wait to see what you do next term!
