Britain's biggest student election has begun!

Nominations for The Leadership Elections 2016 closed last night, and there are now 780 candidates campaigning to lead the Imperial student community.

Imperial College Union members are the most democratically active and dynamic students in the country, with more of you voting in elections than any other students' union in England & Wales. This is your chance to determine the future of the student experience at Imperial - choosing the leaders of our Clubs, Societies & Projects; our Liberation Team; our Academic Representation Network; our Constituent Unions; and our Officer Trustees.

Breaking records

We have a record-breaking number of candidates for our Officer Trustee team, with an unbelievable eleven candidates for Union President and nine candidates for Deputy President (Welfare) - a testament to the enormous impact of our student leaders this year. Make yourself heard

We now need you to get involved and choose who will lead Imperial next year. Voting opens at 12:00 on Friday 4 March and closes the following week at 12:00 on Friday 11 March.
