Welcome Week 2013

Welcome Week 2013 is 28 September till 4 October, and it's the perfect start to your time at Imperial.

What can you do before Welcome Week?

Firstly, check out what's on at the Union and the College - there's a full timetable of activities planned for Undergraduates and Postgraduates .

The Union will have the following events on during Welcome Week:

Monday 30 September

Metric, doors open at 19:00, show at 20:00, free entry

Tuesday 1 October
Freshers' Fair
South Kensington campus, 11:00 – 16:00, free to attend

Imperial Cinema screenings
Iron Man 3 at 18:30 and Monsters University at 21:00
Concert Hall, Beit Quadrangle, £3.00 for members, £4 for non-members (price includes free ice cream for Welcome Week only)

Freshers' Fair Afterparty
Metric and FiveSixEight, 17:00 – 23:00, free entry

Super Quiz (also on every Tuesday during term time)
FiveSixEight, 20:00 – 23:00, free entry

Wednesday 2 October
CSP Wednesday
FiveSixEight and Metric, 19:00 – 01:00, free before 21:00, £2.50 thereafter

Thursday 3 October
Imperial Cinema screenings
Monsters University at 18:30 and Iron Man 3 at 20:45
Concert Hall, Beit Quadrangle, £3.00 for members, £4 for non-members (price includes free ice cream for Welcome Week only)

Live Music in Metric featuring IC Big Band

Friday 4 October
Freshers’ Ball
Metric, 20:00 – 03:00, £10 in advance, £13 on the door

You can also join one of our Clubs & Societies. All you need to do is pay online. We have over 300 Clubs, Societies & Projects, and getting involved in one is a fantastic way to meet new people, learn a new skill, or to simply have fun! Look through our A to Z  and you're bound to find something for you. All of our Clubs, Societies & Projects will be at Freshers’ Fair as well, so you can visit them in person during Welcome Week.
