The long awaited, college-wide anticipated, Student Volunteering Week is BACK! From Monday 20th February to Saturday 26th February, Imperial College will engage in a community-wide celebration of the achievements and impact created by student volunteers. This year’s theme of the SVW is Do Good, Feel Good. Understanding that in serving others in our community, we are bringing forward better change for both the world and ourselves.
To spread this message of kindness, the SVW team has organized a full range of volunteering events throughout the week to ensure EVERYONE has a chance to do good! Volunteering events in the week includes refugee sock donations, dementia patient visits at the Charing Cross Hospital, working with Environmental Society during their Green Week to plant seeds in the Secret Garden, spending time with a lovely group of elderlies, having dinner with those who are lonely, and much more! A special call for volunteers to join our BIG Imperial College Volunteer Thank You Dinner! This is dinner event for all volunteers at Imperial College to join, and share their ideas and vision on how to serve our community. The event takes place on Monday 27th February, at the amazing Copthorne Tara Hotel in London Kensington. Early bird tickets are currently available for 29£ (alcohol included) and 27£ (alcohol non-included). We hope to see all of you there!
