A note from David Goldsmith- Union President

I brought this framework, which recommends a minimum standard for student consultation, to the College Council (the governing body of Imperial College), Senate, Provost's Board and Union Council, thereby finishing my extensive consultation with students and staff to produce it. It can be used by any department/person within the College, and the Union, when wishing to consult with students on any change that may affect them. This will ensure that students’ opinions are better heard and better help shape College decision-making. 

The framework will now be distributed throughout the College and be made part of the training for all student academic representatives. The College have commended it and will be using it, in tandem with the Union, on upcoming College-wide decisions which affect students.
