Got unfilled committee positions?
Want to fill them (assume so, that’s why you’re reading this)?
It’s time for the May By-elections! This election will include vacancies from Constituent Unions and Clubs, Societies & Projects' committee positions unfilled from the Leadership Elections (which have more than 150 members), but all clubs can opt-in to participate in digital voting!
The important dates to note are below:
- Deadline to clubs to contact Activities with unfilled positions (if less than 150 members): Monday 22/05 10:00
- Nominations open: Tuesday 23/05 00:00
- Nominations close: Monday 29/05 23:59
- Manifestos deadline: Tuesday 30/05 11:59
- Voting opens: Tuesday 30/05 12:00
- Voting closes: Friday 02/06 12:00
If your club wants to participate in the online by-elections (whether or not you have 150 members), please contact activities@imperial.ac.uk with the subject header “By-Elections May 2017 – [Club name]”. Please replace “Club name” with your club, don’t actually email club name in the title (you'd be surprised).
Once the election/your AGM is complete, make sure you fill out your “Next Year’s Contact Details” form on eActivities or else next year’s committee will have NO ACCESS to the site, which is a little more than inconvenient for everyone.
Please remember online by-elections are not compulsory if you have less than 150 members, but you must complete your AGM and election process before June 2nd !
