International Imperial

This November we launched International Imperial, a week long programme full of events that were led by our student volunteers. With over 340 different Clubs, Societies and Projects and a multicultural student body of over sixteen thousand students, we wanted to showcase the culture and diversity that exists here at Imperial.

We had a great variety of events taking place during the week from the Japanese Society hosting an Origami Workshop, to  BanglaSoc demonstrating a traditional Bangladeshi game by running a Carrom Tournament, and Kung Fu hosting a taster session to name a few! Feedback from the Societies involved so far has been great, with many non-members turning up to the events and learning something new.

So what’s next for International Imperial? We know that so many Clubs, Societies and Projects run many of their own events at various times of the year, all of which highlight and showcase the rich cultural diversity that we have at the College, and so because of this we want to develop the name and the brand of International Imperial to encompass and highlight all of this activity. Watch this space…!

International Imperial took place on the 10 - 15 November and showcased all of the culture and diversity that Imperial has to offer.
