This is an Education Strategy initiative to support our students to return to their schools or colleges to share their experiences of the College. Student visits will promote primarily Imperial College London and secondly, the student’s own discipline.
A number of departments in the College have successfully had a programme of student ambassadors visiting their former schools, normally in the UK, to promote their discipline in particular, and Imperial College London in general. Through the Imperial College London Education Strategy of 2013, it is proposed to increase the number of students who undertake this activity. Any student who is registered for the scheme and completes visits can use the title Imperial School Ambassadors. Up to 20 Imperial School Ambassadors (ISAs) will be trained and visit schools for the purposes of recruitment in the 2013/14 academic year.
Who can apply
Any student who is interested in returning to their former school or a school where they have a close link, to promote Imperial College London. Applications are welcome from all Undergraduate and Postgraduate students.
