This year, Imperial College Union will be acknowledging the contribution our volunteers make to the services and activities we run through our new programme - Imperial Plus. As well as acknowledging the hours they spend volunteering, Imperial Plus will encourage students to reflect on the many and varied skills they develop through volunteering, which enhance their employability.
We will be holding a series of 30 minute briefing sessions to provide a bit more information about the programme and what it entails. The briefing sessions are aimed at students who have already registered; those who may be interested and those who would like to find out more.
They will be held in the Union’s new Meeting Room 3 on the third floor of the Main Union building in Beit Quad on:
- Tuesday 15 October at 17:30
- Thursday 17 October at 17:30
- Tuesday 22 October at 12:30
There are only 60 places available at each session and they will be on a first come first served basis. If you aren’t able to come along, do have a look at the Imperial Plus Frequently Asked Questions.
For any volunteers working towards the Imperial Plus Volunteer Accreditation, they will be able to book on to the workshops from the end of next week.
