People and Planet is the largest student network in Britain campaigning to end world poverty, defend human rights and protect the environment. 

Amongst their achievements they have driven the education sector to take climate change seriously driven by the People and Planet Green League. In addition they helped to secure the worlds first Climate Change Act. For more information about People and Planet click here

On Saturday 29 - Sunday 30 November 2014 they are hosting a Student Activism Weekender, in London.

Described as a jam packed weekend of participatory workshops bringing together student activists from across the south of England.

If you're interested in being involved in People and Planets's Fossil Free or Sweatshop Free campaigns this is a great opportunity to learn the basics and develop your knowledge and skills.
