Imperial College Union have teamed up with the International Student Support Office to organise some great new events that take place on Wednesday afternoons. These events are different every week and we aim to help introduce new and returning International (and UK/EU) students to new people, new places and exciting parts of London.
Starting with the Cosmopolitan Café on the 15th October, we offer an informal, welcoming environment away from studies where students can enjoy free coffee, listen to guest speakers and meet people from all over the world. The first Cosmopolitan Cafe of the term will feature an 'Ask a Staff Member' panel where you will have the opportunity to get your questions about settling into Imperial and life in London answered by key College staff members. This event is open to everyone and is free, just pop down to the Chaplaincy at 3pm. More details can be found here.
The following Wednesday 22nd October marks the first of our Discover London events, taking Imperial Students on a Curious History around Kensington Walking Tour. These are afternoon and evening trips to introduce you to great places and events in London. Details on how to book your place can he found here.
Last but definitely not least, the International Student Support office are also organising day and weekend trips to a huge range of UK destinations, giving you a great excuse to put down those library books and discover exciting parts of the UK.
