Death of an ISoc alumnus in Syria

It is with sadness and regret that the Union has to inform students of the death of your former colleague Dr Isa Abdur Rahman, who died last week whilst volunteering at a hospital treating injured civilians in Syria.

Isa studied Medicine and was a member of the Islamic Society, Snooker and Book clubs during his time at Imperial.

This is a truly tragic loss of a bright young man with wonderful prospects, and the Union would like to extend its sincere condolences to his family and to the student body.
