Last week Imperial College launced a website for the Althea-Imperial Prize, a new institutional prize which has been established to recognise the innovative approach, entrepreneurial spirit and leadership skills of female students at Imperial.
The Prize and its associated programme have been designed to:
* Inspire the ingenuity and creativity of female students at Imperial
* Incentivize and inspire women at Imperial to be innovative and entrepreneurial early on in their careers
* Encourage innovation and entrepreneurship from all departments and disciplines within Imperial
The 2014/15 programme will include high-profile speakers and tailored one-to-one mentoring, with applicants for the Prize competing for £10,000 as well as a series of runners up prizes.
SIgn up here if you are interested in the programme, wish to receive regular updates, or want to volunteer your time as a mentor/speaker for the prize.
