11 Top Tips for Making Friends in Welcome Week

One Direction

1. Music on, door open

An open door and some music, at a reasonable volume, is a great way to let your fellow corridor-mates know that you have moved in to halls. They will be sure to pop their head in and say 'Hi'. Careful with your music choice though, not everyone is a big fan of One Direction!

Brownies

2. Brownies, treats for residents

We said it before, and maybe we're biased, but some baked goodness is a great icebreaker with your new hall mates. Make sure you get an experienced baker to prepare them though, you don't want to poison everyone.

clubs

3. Clubs, Societies & Projects
