The Leadership Elections 2016 are your chance to shape the future of student life at Imperial. Every single Imperial student, no matter their subject, degree level, or campus, can cast their vote for the students that will lead the groups that make this student community what it is. Imperial College Union brings together Clubs, Societies & Projects, Constituent Unions, Liberation Officers, Academic Representatives, and Community Volunteers into one vibrant and active organisation. Who will you choose to lead it into 2017 and beyond?

Britain's biggest student elections

We are Britain's most active student democracy. 17,000 members will cast over one hundred thousand votes and almost 800 students are competing for your vote over the next two weeks. There are a record-breaking 32 students running for full-time roles, including eleven for Union President and nine for Deputy President (Welfare). Almost 400 positions will be elected for 2016/17, meaning this is your chance to influence the next generation of activities, events, campaigns and successes the Union will have.

How do I take part?

Voting opens at noon on Friday 4 March, and closes at noon on Friday 11 March. You can cast your vote online at imperialcollegeunion.org/vote

You will be able to watch the candidates for Officer Trustee positions debate each other in Meet the Candidates, held on Wednesday 2 March and livestreamed here on imperialcollegeunion.org .
